Turn a nested group into either a regular collapsed card with chosen fields or a full-screen, step-by-step wizard, then optionally publish it as a designed standalone app.
Where: Select a Group → Group settings → Card / Step-by-step wizard, or Publish as App
Key ideas
- Exposed fields: Each exposed group input becomes a typed text/media/select/etc. field, and each exposed output can become a result preview. These sockets remain the group’s normal connectable Inputs and Outputs.
- Regular collapsed card: In the Card editor, use the eye (“Show on card”) to choose which exposed inputs and outputs appear when the Group is collapsed. Reorder the rows and cycle S / M / L to control each field or result tile’s footprint.
- Wizard mode: Turn on Step-by-step wizard to replace the collapsed card’s flat field list with one Start action and a full-screen paged form. The wizard includes every exposed input—even one hidden from the regular collapsed card—and can auto-chunk them or use authored steps, guidance, required-field gates, content blocks, and a theme.
- Designed frontend: Published apps can use the dynamic form or an advanced custom template designed in the embedded f0 editor.
Steps
- Group the subflow, then open Group settings and expose the inputs and outputs the mini app needs.
- For the regular collapsed card, use each row’s eye to choose “Show on card”, drag to reorder, and click S / M / L to size the visible field or result tile.
- Collapse the Group to use the regular card with those selected fields.
- For guided intake, turn on Step-by-step wizard. Arrange the exposed inputs into pages, add optional guidance/content, mark required inputs, and choose whether the wizard starts automatically.
- Open the collapsed Group: Start launches the full-screen wizard; its final step runs the Group.
- Use Publish as App to configure appearance/access, or open Design layout for a custom frontend, then republish.
FAQ
What is the difference between “Show on card” and Wizard mode?
“Show on card” curates the inputs and outputs visible on the regular collapsed Group card. Wizard mode replaces that flat card field list with Start and pages every exposed input in a full-screen form.
Can I hide an input from the regular card but still ask for it in the wizard?
Yes. The regular card follows the eye / “Show on card” selection; the wizard follows the complete exposed-input list, so hidden card fields still become wizard questions.
