Start a native video document with Video Timeline

Use the Document Editor card in video project mode to open an editable native f0 video document from connected media.

Where: Flowgen → Add → Video → Video Timeline

Key ideas

• Preset contract: The Add action creates DOCUMENT_EDITOR with projectType: video and the visible title Video, distinct from Website Studio’s projectType: simple preset.
• Card and sidebar: The DocumentEditorNode card owns document status, connected inputs, update/reset/history, and the editor action. Essential document controls remain on the card/shared shell rather than a second editor in the sidebar.
• Opened surface: Open the embedded same-origin f0 video editor to arrange scenes, layers, timing, motion, audio, captions, and responsive composition state.

Steps

1. Add Video Timeline and connect the video, image, audio, text, or document inputs it should own.
2. Open the embedded editor and build the timeline/scene document.
3. Save back to Flowgen and inspect document/history state on the card.
4. Connect the native document/composition output to Video Render or another document-aware node.
