Stack material layers on one mesh — Spline/Unicorn-style. Composite surface layers (gradients, fresnel, glass, rainbow, toon, outline, noise…) with blend modes, opacity, and masks, and add vertex-deform layers that warp the geometry.
Where: 3D editor → select a mesh → Layers — Add material layers
Key ideas
- Surface layers: color / gradient / depth-gradient / fresnel / image / video / glass / rainbow / toon / outline / noise / pattern, each with blend mode + opacity + optional mask.
- Vertex layers: displace / wave / twist / bend / inflate / wind deform the shared geometry.
- Presets: Ready-made stacks: holographic, iridescent, dissolve, hologram (scanlines), glitch, liquid-goo.
Steps
- Select a mesh and open Layers.
- Add a surface layer; set its blend mode/opacity and (optionally) a mask.
- Add vertex layers to deform the shape.
- Or start from a layer preset.
