Expose group sockets as a usable card, design a single-page or wizard form, configure typed controls and choice layouts, and preview the exact participant experience.
Where: Select a group → edit its card/form, or Publish as App → Inputs and Design layout.
Key ideas
- Exposure defines the contract: Show on card, order, type, default, layout, and card width determine what a user can supply and what the group returns.
- Questions can be paged: Wizard pages have a name and guidance; questions can move earlier/later or between pages.
- Choice controls are visual: Dropdown, Grid, List, and Toggle can include media, icons, aspect choices, item widths, and a chosen number of columns.
Steps
- Open the group card editor and expose only the inputs and outputs the app user needs.
- Drag exposed fields into order; set each type, default, layout, width, and required state.
- Choose Auto by type, Text area, Text field, Dropdown, Radio buttons, Checkboxes, URL, or File upload for each input.
- Add hint text and an optional question image; add images or clips to choices when visual selection helps.
- Choose Dropdown, Grid, List, or Toggle; Toggle requires exactly two choices.
- For Grid/List, set choices per row, item width, and Square, Wide, Landscape, Portrait, or auto media shape.
- Create or reorder wizard pages, add page guidance, and move questions deliberately before removing a page.
- Open Look to set logo, background image/gradient, colors, corner radius, button shape, and Tight/Normal/Airy spacing.
- Preview and run the form with representative required, optional, upload, and multi-choice data.
Supported socket types
- Text, Image, Video, Audio, Voice, Layer, Compose, Mask, Design System, CSS, PDF, HTML, 3D Model, HDRI, Bundle, and Any.
- An app may have no exposed inputs, but publishing requires at least one exposed output.
- A custom f0 Design layout can replace the dynamic form and can later be discarded to return to the generated layout.
Tips
- Expose a small stable contract instead of every internal socket.
- Test the form as a first-time user who cannot infer hidden workflow details.
Limitations and important notes
- Toggle supports exactly two choices.
- Removing a page moves its questions to the remaining final page; verify ordering afterward.
Troubleshooting
Publish is blocked even though the flow runs.
Expose at least one output and resolve every required input/control validation issue.
