Installing a package is additive — it never replaces your project. Its records are recreated org-scoped, its node groups are saved to your asset library and dropped straight onto the canvas, and its design system is saved as an asset.
Where: flowGen → "Flows" (Marketplace) button → Packages tab — Pick a package and click "Install package"
Key ideas
- Additive install: A package install adds to the open project — it does not replace it, ask to confirm, or reload. Your existing canvas stays intact.
- Where things land: Records are recreated org-scoped (visible to every project). Node groups are saved as reusable node-group assets AND dropped onto the current canvas. A bundled design system is saved as a design-system asset.
- Rebound references: Each dropped group's record references are rebound to the freshly created org records, so its bound Record / persona nodes point at your own copies.
Steps
- Click the "Flows" button (Marketplace) on the flowGen canvas.
- Open the Packages tab to browse available packages.
- Click "Install package" on the one you want.
- The package's records appear in your Records section (org-scoped), its groups are added to your asset library and dropped on the canvas, and any design system is saved as an asset.
- Bind, wire, and run the dropped groups as usual — their records already point at your own copies.
FAQ
Will installing a package overwrite my project?
No. Packages install additively — records, groups, and a design system are added; nothing on your canvas is replaced and no reload happens.
Where do the installed personas and records go?
They are recreated org-scoped, so they show up in the Records section of every project in your org.
