- Live sites: Static/edge website hosting is 100 Flowies/month per site; managed WordPress hosting is 650 Flowies/month per site.
- Cloud GPU: Cloud rendering is charged from timeline duration: one Flowie covers 16s/12s/8s/6s/4s at 480p/720p/1080p/1440p/4K.
- Local remains free: Choosing the local renderer does not spend Flowies; the cloud choice estimates and gates before submission.
Steps
- Choose the website publish or video export action.
- Review the displayed monthly or per-render Flowie estimate.
- For video, choose Local or Cloud GPU and set the output resolution.
- Confirm only after the balance gate passes.
- Use manual editing on Free when it meets the project’s needs. Check Plan & Billing and the current action quote when you need more projects, a paid capability, or additional metered usage.
Website costs
- Static/edge and managed WordPress hosting use different recurring Flowie rates.
- Published site slots and custom-domain eligibility also depend on the account plan.
- Unpublishing an unused site can release a slot; it is different from merely removing a domain.
Cloud GPU costs
- The estimate uses timeline/output duration and the selected resolution tier.
- Higher resolutions spend more Flowies for the same duration.
- The balance gate runs before cloud submission.
- Local rendering remains the no-Flowie path when available, but uses the local machine and can take longer.
Estimate recurring work
For hosting, evaluate monthly site count and type. For GPU, estimate typical duration × resolution × export frequency; a short test render catches errors before a long final.
Free editing and point-of-spend checks
A planless account can own up to three projects of any mix of types and manually edit projects it can access. New accounts receive 50 one-time welcome Sparks. Entry to the editor is no longer a subscription gate; AI actions, cloud/GPU rendering, and website hosting still check the balance and applicable limits when they spend.
- The free welcome grant is not a monthly refill.
- Existing planless accounts may need the administrator’s backfill; do not promise a client-side retroactive grant.
- Free-plan video/export and hosting limits still apply. Free editing is not unlimited paid rendering or free recurring hosting.

Cloud cost is higher than expected
