Run or resume the five-step ad pipeline beside an Ad page, use an existing HTML design as the master, and understand exactly which steps spend and which generated pages belong to the campaign.
Where: Designer → Add page → Ad. The Ad campaign panel appears beside Ad pages.
Key ideas
- Five visible dependent steps: Master image, Split into layers, Build the master, Make the sizes, and Make variations are separate because later work depends on earlier output and some stages spend Sparks. Run everything skips completed steps.
- HTML-first ads skip unnecessary generation: When the current Ad page already contains a finished HTML design, it is the master. Image generation and layer splitting are not required or purchased; sizes and copy angles derive from its live markup.
- Campaign state follows the master: Placement and variation pages identify the master campaign even when one of those pages is active. Made pages can be opened directly, fonts apply across the campaign, and shape changes may scale close ratios or recompose very different placements.
Steps
- Open an Ad page. Enter what is advertised, the audience, offer, and constraints, or drop/paste a picture or written brief onto the panel.
- If the page is already the approved live HTML master, continue to sizes. Otherwise make/adopt a master image.
- Run Split into layers to lift baked words into live text and separate the image where needed.
- Build the master and inspect the editable composition at its original size.
- Choose placement sizes and run Make the sizes. Review each result from Made pages; a very different shape such as 728×90 may use a simplified/recomposed layout.
- Choose 1–6 copy angles and run Make variations. Copy changes while the layout remains tied to the campaign/placement.
- Choose organization fonts so generated pages embed the intended faces.
- Use Run everything to finish an incomplete campaign; it skips completed stages and shows expected cost copy before starting.
Panel inputs and feedback
- Brief textarea
- Drag/paste or Attach a file
- Placement-size chooser with made-state
- Variation count from 1 to 6
- Organization font row
- Per-step running/done/blocked state and cost
- Made pages list
- Muted correctable notices and recent notes
- Run everything
Master behavior
- A dropped picture can become the master only when the page does not already contain one.
- Dropped HTML/text is treated as written brief/input; it is not silently adopted as another campaign’s master.
- An existing live HTML ad counts as a built master.
- On the HTML path, the panel skips picture and split purchases and charges only applicable layout/variation rounds.
Tips
- Review the master’s type and CTA before generating placements. The panel can skip work, but it cannot make a weak master strong by multiplication.
- Open every extreme aspect family—square, portrait, landscape, banner—before exporting the campaign.
Limitations and important notes
- The panel appears only on Ad pages and becomes read-only when the project role cannot edit.
- Automatic placement layout still needs review for legal text, long localization, and subject-safe cropping.
- This surface creates/edits campaign pages; final HTML/PNG packaging is covered by the Flowgen Ad Campaign/export article.
Troubleshooting
Split into layers says it is not needed.
The current page is already a live HTML master. Continue to Make the sizes; there is no baked picture to lift apart.
A step is blocked.
Read the step’s dependency message: create/adopt or build the master first, choose sizes before non-HTML variations, or obtain edit access.
