Create or refine logo concepts inside a 1024×1024 Logo page, keep multiple editable versions, choose the master, and export clean SVG or local PNG sizes.
Where: Designer → Add page → Logo → Open Logo Studio, or Edit on an existing logo version.
Key ideas
- A fixed logo artboard with version management: Logo pages use a 1024×1024 stage. The Logo versions panel lists drawn marks, identifies the master, and exposes Edit, SVG, and PNG actions for each version.
- Three-step studio: Logo Studio moves through Brand brief, Choose a direction, and Inspect & export. Explore several concepts, select one direction, then refine it. Reopening Edit seeds the studio from that version’s prompt, type, image/SVG, trace options, colors, and references.
- Versions are additive: Saving from Logo Studio adds a version and preserves the source artwork and current master. Making a version master changes the project’s chosen mark without deleting the alternatives.
Steps
- Add a Logo page and open Logo Studio. Enter the brand brief, desired logo type, brand colors, and useful visual references.
- Choose how many concepts to explore and run the first stage. Compare silhouette, legibility, distinctiveness, and fit to the design system—not only decorative detail.
- Select one direction and choose Refine this direction. Inspect the finished mark at large and small sizes.
- Complete the studio to add the result as a new version on the Logo page.
- Use Edit beside a version to reopen the studio with its saved metadata and source. Refine rather than starting over when the core direction is correct.
- Choose Make master on the selected production version.
- Choose SVG for an actual SVG mark. Choose a shared PNG size in the panel and export PNG; raster-only versions download their original PNG.
- Test the master on light/dark grounds and at favicon/small-header scale before treating it as final.
Version-row actions
- Edit in Logo Studio
- Make this the master version
- Save as SVG when the mark is SVG
- Save/download PNG using the panel’s selected pixel size
- Master indicator for the currently chosen production mark
Preserved studio metadata
- Prompt/brand brief
- Logo type
- Original PNG/source URL
- Normalized SVG when available
- Vector/tracing options
- Brand colors
- Reference images
Tips
- Pick the master only after testing every required background and size; the most impressive large lockup may not be the best universal mark.
- Retain alternate monochrome, knocked-out, and horizontal versions instead of overwriting them.
Limitations and important notes
- SVG export appears only for a usable SVG mark. A raster image does not become a clean vector merely because it is on a Logo page.
- PNG export is local and free because the artwork already exists; generation/refinement inside Logo Studio may still be a paid AI action.
- The Logo panel appears in Edit mode on Logo pages, not in Preview or unrelated page types.
Troubleshooting
SVG is missing from a version row.
That version is raster-only or its stored SVG is invalid. Reopen Edit and trace/refine to a usable vector, or export the PNG.
The page shows several versions but downstream usage is inconsistent.
Mark the intended version as Master and update any page that deliberately embeds a different explicit asset.
