Ask the AI to re-author an existing scene — change its layout, content, or motion. It uses the scene definer (not the web interaction tools) so the scene stays a proper animated composition.
Where: AI assistant (video project) → select/describe the scene — Ask the AI to change a scene
Key ideas
- Re-author, not patch: The scene is rebuilt via define_scene to keep its timeline coherent.
- Layout + motion: Change visuals and the GSAP animation together.
Steps
- Open the AI assistant in a video project.
- Point it at the scene and describe the change.
- Review the updated scene.
Scene-scoped re-authoring
- The video assistant reads timeline context and uses the scene definer to re-author the requested scene rather than patching unrelated website interactions.
- The default scope is the scene named or selected in the request; edits stay there unless you explicitly ask for broader changes.
- Describe both the visual/content change and the motion change when both should be revised.
Review the result
- Inspect the updated scene’s composition and animation, then compare its timing with neighboring scenes.
- Check that the result remains a proper video scene on the timeline and that clips/audio outside the requested scope were preserved.
- Make follow-up requests specific to one scene or one visual/motion concern at a time.
Tips
- Name the scene or story beat and state what must remain unchanged so the assistant can keep the edit scoped.
Limitations and important notes
- Re-authoring can change more than one element within the target scene; review the complete scene after the assistant applies it.
