Embed interactive Spline 3D scenes and drive them with interactions (e.g. scroll or pointer).
Where: Insert → Spline 3D scene — Insert a Spline scene
Key ideas
- Live 3D: Embed a Spline scene as a first-class element.
- Drive with interactions: Scrub or control the scene via interaction triggers.
Steps
- Insert a Spline element and paste/select the intended published Spline scene URL.
- Set dimensions, fit, autoplay, and any named variables exposed by the scene.
- Preview pointer/scroll behavior and loading on desktop plus mobile.
- Add an interaction only for variables/events the embedded scene supports, and provide a fallback/poster when needed.
Integration boundaries
flowmo owns the surrounding element, layout, and interactions; Spline owns the remote scene runtime. Named variables/events form the bridge, so verify their names and published scene permissions.
Limitations and important notes
- A private, moved, or unavailable Spline scene URL will fail to load.
- Interactive 3D can be GPU/network intensive and should have a reduced-motion/mobile fallback.
