Flowgen canvas controls, left-rail tools, and Prompt Library

Locate current canvas controls, use comments, Draw and sticky notes correctly, and inspect or fork the exact built-in prompts that drive model nodes.

Key ideas

Tools and preferences are separated: Comments, Draw, sticky notes, Add, Assets, Flows, and Prompt Library begin on the left; Card mode, snap, completion sound, and selection-driven settings live in the canvas top controls.
Dialogs are not tabs: Flows and Prompt Library open dialogs without becoming an active rail panel. Draw is a canvas mode and restores the previous rail tab when it closes.
Built-in and per-node prompts answer different questions: Prompt Library inventories app doctrine; a node System Prompt viewer shows what that specific node will send.

Open Add or press Tab for nodes; open Assets for project media.
Use Flows to start from a ready-made flow and Prompt Library to browse every doctrine the app runs on.
Select Card mode or Node graph according to whether outcome cards or explicit wiring should lead.
Toggle snap alignment, completion sound, and Open node settings on selection from the current top controls.
Choose Draw for freehand canvas annotation; leave Draw to return to the previous rail tab.
Add a sticky note for canvas-local context or Comments for threaded collaboration.
In Prompt Library, expand groups in registry order, choose a variant, and copy the resolved prompt text.
Select prompts across groups and choose Fork to canvas to create editable copies connected through a Context node.
Connect the resulting Context node to the model-driven nodes that should receive the customized doctrine.

It lazy-loads on first open and resolves one opened prompt at a time, memoizing prompt and variant.
Viewers can browse and copy; editing permission is required to fork.
A selected legacy prompt warns when it is not reachable from a live path.
Groups containing only dead legacy prompts begin collapsed.

Search includes id, label, description, and trigger phrases.
Live only and Group, Family, Surface, Kind, and Rendition filters can be combined.
Press / outside a field to focus search; press Escape in a populated search to clear it.
Skill entries expose package metadata, references, and renditions before they are forked to the canvas.

Turn off Open node settings on selection during spatial rearrangement and back on during property-heavy setup.
Use a comment for a discussion and a sticky note for unthreaded canvas context.

Forking does not globally replace product doctrine; it creates editable canvas context.
Card mode hides some connection detail but does not remove wires.

Flows and Prompt Library are dialog launchers, not persistent rail tabs.
