The CMS Auto-Connect wizard is a guided flow that inspects your page, suggests repeaters and root containers, and auto-maps elements to CMS collections and fields — so you don’t bind everything by hand.

Key ideas
- Suggests structure: Detects likely repeaters and root containers on the page.
- Auto-maps fields: Wires element text/images/links to collection fields automatically.
Steps
- Start the CMS Auto-Connect wizard.
- Review the suggested repeaters/roots.
- Confirm the field mappings.
- Adjust any bindings the binding bar.
Review the setup before Start
- The wizard separates setup from selection and lets you choose options for Header & Footer, Dynamic Menus, and Auto-Repeaters before applying changes.
- Refresh analysis when the page structure changes; select pages/root frames intentionally and use Show already mapped when you need to inspect prior mappings.
- You can search pages/frames, select all visible, promote a root frame to a page, and open a selection on canvas before applying.
Inspect mappings after application
- Auto-connect suggestions are starting bindings; inspect field names, element roles, and repeated structures before accepting them as final.
- Adjust mismatched text, image, link, and visibility bindings in the CMS tools after the wizard completes.
- Preview an entry in Content mode to confirm the selected collection data reaches the correct elements.
Tips
- Run the wizard on a representative page first when several pages share repeated layouts.
Limitations and important notes
- Ambiguous structure or field names can lead to imperfect suggestions; review before starting and validate the resulting bindings.
