Choose the workspace that matches the deliverable, then set account-level and per-project editor views independently. Website, Video, Designer, and Flowgen projects share the same dashboard plan limit.

Key ideas
- f0 Websites: A direct visual website project for pages, responsive layout, CMS, interactions, preview, domains, publishing, and export.
- f0 Video: A scene-based visual project with resolution and frame-rate controls, a continuous timeline, captions, presentations, and rendered media output.
- Designer: A standalone AI-first project for slides, ads, brand images, immersive pages, motion, video, and other directed page types.
- Flowgen: A connected node canvas for research, generation, transformation, approval, automation, and embedded website/video/Designer work.
- User defaults and project overrides: users.uiMode seeds the experience; users.f0Chrome controls Focus/Studio, users.flowgenChrome controls Cards/Node graph, and a project-specific local override wins for that one surface and project.
Steps
- Choose the current organization, team, and folder before creating; the new project inherits that dashboard location.
- Open New project. Choose Website, Video, Designer, or Flowgen based on the final deliverable and how connected the work needs to be.
- Use Website for direct responsive site editing and publishing, or Video for scene-and-timeline editing and media/presentation export.
- Use Designer for an AI-directed multi-page deliverable, or Flowgen when several inputs, generators, editors, approvals, or outputs need to stay connected.
- If creation is blocked, check the shared total-project meter in Account → Usage. Only visible projects you own count; archived originals do not.
- Set account defaults in Account → Preferences: Website & video editor uses Focus or Studio; Flowgen uses Cards or Node graph.
- Inside a supported project, choose a project view override when this project should differ from the account default. Clear the override to follow the account again.
What each dashboard card creates
- Website creates an f0 project and opens the website editor.
- Video creates an f0-video project and opens the video editor.
- Designer creates a standalone Designer project through the Designer runtime.
- Flowgen creates a media-gen project and opens its canvas.
Preference resolution
- Project override wins first.
- Then the matching user surface default: f0Chrome or flowgenChrome.
- If that field is missing, uiMode supplies the fallback.
- Autopilot defaults to Focus/Cards; Assist defaults to Studio/Cards; Control defaults to Studio/Node graph.
Project properties that matter
- Organization, team, and folder control where the project appears.
- Project type controls its route, editor, filters, bundle behavior, and some marketplace categories.
- Name, ownership, archive/trash state, and collaborators drive dashboard actions and visibility.
- Editor-view overrides are browser-local and scoped by surface plus project id; they do not rewrite the shared project document.
Tips
- Pick the simplest surface that delivers the result; Flowgen is most useful when inputs and outputs need a reusable graph.
- Treat a separate project as a collaboration and organization boundary, not merely another page or canvas.
Limitations and important notes
- The split New project button can emphasize different primary actions in different dashboard shells; its menu is the reliable place to see the available direct types.
- Project limits are shared across the four types, not four independent quotas.
- A browser-local project view override does not follow collaborators or another browser.
Troubleshooting
The project opens in the wrong view
Check the project override first, then Account → Preferences. Clear the project override if it should follow the account default.
New project is blocked even though one type has no projects
Open Account → Usage and check the total visible owned-project count; the current gate is shared across project types.
