Fill & backgrounds

The Fill block stacks fill layers — solid colors, linear/radial/conic gradients, and images — each with position, size, and repeat.

Where: Right sidebar → Styles → Fill — Select an element and add/open Fill

Key ideas

• Layer stack: Add multiple fills and reorder them; top layers paint over lower ones.
• Types: Solid, Linear, Radial, Conic gradient, or Image (with background size/position/repeat).

Steps

1. Open Styles → Fill.
2. Add a layer and choose its type.
3. Set the color/gradient stops or image options.
4. Reorder layers as needed.

Layer behavior

• Top layers paint over lower layers.
• Each layer can be reordered, enabled/removed, and edited independently.
• Gradient layers support multiple stops and linear/radial/conic geometry.
• Image layers expose size, position, and repeat; element dimensions determine the painted box.

Tips

• Use a solid layer beneath an image/gradient as a loading/fallback color.
• Check contrast after combining translucent layers and blend effects.
