Key ideas
- Quick Gens: Registry-driven categories expose focused one-off generators with a name, description, availability state, and their own input panel.
- Dedicated studios: Logo Studio and Image Editor open larger guided workspaces instead of running an inline top-bar action.
- External AI connection: The desktop app can also expose Connect to Claude here; that configures the local MCP bridge and does not run the in-app assistant.
Steps
- Switch to Studio and open AI in the top bar.
- Open a Quick Gens category and read the generator description and availability state before selecting it.
- Use Logo Studio for a guided brand-mark workflow, or Image Editor for layered pixel, selection, path, channel, effect, and generative editing.
- In the desktop app, use Connect to Claude only when you want an external MCP host to operate flowmo tools.
- Review the generated or edited asset, save it to the intended project location, and verify its use on the canvas.
What each entry opens
- Quick Gen → the registered generator panel.
- Logo Studio → the multi-step logo workspace.
- Image Editor → the full image-editing surface; passing no source starts an empty/new editing session.
- Connect to Claude → desktop-only local MCP setup.
Availability
Quick Gens are built from the live plugin registry. Entries marked “soon” remain visible for discovery but are not yet runnable; categories and counts can change as plugins are added.
Limitations and important notes
- The MCP connection entry appears only in the desktop runtime.
- A Quick Gen being listed does not mean it is enabled for every account or surface.
Troubleshooting
A Quick Gen cannot be selected
Check whether it is marked “soon,” then confirm the current account, runtime, and required provider/plan access.
