The left sidebar is your navigation hub: an icon rail toggles the main panels (Pages/Layers, Design System, Assets, CMS, AI), with a header for project name/sharing and a draggable edge to resize, split, or collapse it.
Where: Left edge of the editor — Click an icon in the rail
Key ideas
- Icon rail: Vertical tabs switch the open panel: Design System, Assets, CMS (hidden for video), Layers/Pages, and AI Assistant. Only one main panel is open at a time; the AI can split alongside one.
- Header: The project logo menu, an editable project name, online collaborators, a Share button, and a close-panels control.
- Resize / split / collapse: Drag the right edge to resize (240–720px), drag the divider to split the main panel with the AI, or collapse to an icon-only rail.
Steps
- Click an icon in the left rail to open that panel.
- Use the header to rename the project, see collaborators, or Share.
- Drag the right edge to resize, the divider to split with AI, or collapse to just the rail.
Panels and project header
- The icon rail switches among Design System, Assets, CMS where supported, Layers/Pages, and AI Assistant.
- The header contains the project menu/logo, editable project name, online collaborator state, Share, and close-panels controls.
- The AI Assistant can be split beside the main panel; other primary panels occupy the main sidebar region.
Resize, split, and collapse
- Drag the sidebar edge to resize it within its supported range.
- Use the divider to adjust a split view when AI is open alongside another panel.
- Collapse to the icon-only rail when you need more canvas width; reopen the panel from the rail.
Tips
- Close or collapse the sidebar before evaluating a narrow canvas layout so the editor chrome does not obscure the design.
Limitations and important notes
- CMS is not shown on video surfaces, and available panels depend on the current project/editor mode.
