The Assets panel is your media library: upload images/video/audio, organize them in folders, search, and pull in free stock from Unsplash and Pexels. Drag or click to insert onto the canvas.
Where: Left sidebar → Assets — Open the Assets panel
Key ideas
- Your media: Upload and organize images, video, and audio in folders; search to find them.
- Stock: Browse Unsplash/Pexels stock directly in the panel.
- Insert: Drag onto the canvas or click to place.
Steps
- Open the Assets panel.
- Upload your media or search stock.
- Organize into folders.
- Drag or click an asset to insert it.
Library workflow
- Upload images, video, and audio once and reuse them across the project.
- Create folders and use search to keep a large library navigable.
- Drag an asset to control placement or click it for the default insertion behavior.
- Browse Unsplash and Pexels without leaving the editor.
Choosing an asset
Prefer project assets for approved brand media and stock search for exploration. Inserting creates or updates a canvas element; it does not edit the source file in the library.
HTML files and targeted reveal
- Raw .html/.htm uploads appear under HTML Files, separate from flowmo HTML Pages/Sections whose assets carry structured JSON payloads.
- When a node asks to reveal a generated file, the Asset Browser switches to its scope/folder, expands the virtualized result window if needed, scrolls the asset into view, and selects it.
Lazy previews, scoped search, and deep reveal
Asset tabs and tiles load what is needed for the visible view. Stored thumbnails avoid repeatedly fetching original media just to draw a card. Scoped search, dragging a search result, and revealing deeply nested lazy-loaded assets are corrected. Design-system revisions remain associated with the generating node’s asset folder.
Tips
- Use descriptive filenames and folders before the asset library grows.
- Confirm stock licensing and attribution requirements for the intended use.
