A short list of common f0 canvas shortcuts for history, selection, editing, and AI; this is not an exhaustive index of every context-sensitive key binding.
Where: Use shortcuts while the f0 editor canvas is active; some bindings defer to native text editing inside inputs.
Key ideas
- Canvas focus matters: Undo/redo, delete, selection, and tool shortcuts act on the canvas when it owns focus; text inputs and content-editable fields may keep browser-native behavior.
- AI shortcuts: Cmd/Ctrl+K opens the floating Ask AI/property picker, and Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K opens a fresh AI conversation.
- This is a short reference: The binding registry contains more context-sensitive shortcuts than this quick list; use the keyboard-shortcuts guide or command palette for the complete current map.
Steps
- Click the canvas or select an element before using canvas-level editing shortcuts.
- Use Cmd/Ctrl+Z to undo, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z or Cmd/Ctrl+Y to redo, and Delete/Backspace to delete the current selection.
- Use Cmd/Ctrl+A to select all at the current level; Cmd/Ctrl+D duplicates; Cmd/Ctrl+G groups; Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+G or Cmd/Ctrl+Backspace ungroups.
- Use Cmd/Ctrl+C/X for copy/cut when the canvas owns the selection; native text selection keeps its browser copy behavior, and paste is handled by the editor clipboard manager.
- Press Cmd/Ctrl+K for floating Ask AI/property access, or Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K for a fresh conversation.
- Check the complete keyboard shortcut reference for tool-specific, timeline, sidebar, focus, and movement bindings.
