Before you start
- Finish scene order, nested composition timing, captions, and the stop points viewers should navigate.
Key ideas
- Presentation mode: Bakes pause-at-stops; auto-add stops at precomp/scene boundaries.
- Advance: Choose click + keys + swipe, keyboard only, click only, or swipe only.
- Publish a deck: Publishes to sites.fmo.app; it loads paused and viewers navigate your stops (optionally with burnt captions).
Steps
- Open Presentation controls and enable presentation mode.
- Auto-add stops (or place your own) and pick the advance mechanic.
- Open the Publish menu → Publish Presentation.
- Share the deck URL.
Presentation timing
- Enable presentation mode to pause at stops.
- Auto-add stops at scene/precomposition boundaries, then add/remove manual stops where the narrative requires.
- Play through every stop to confirm the paused frame communicates the intended slide/state.
Advance mechanics
- Click + keys + swipe.

Published deck
Publish Presentation creates a shareable web deck that loads paused and advances through saved stops. Review the public URL on desktop and touch devices, including caption treatment and back/forward behavior.
Tips
- Avoid stops mid-transition unless the paused frame is intentionally designed.
- Give each stop enough visual stability and readable content to function as a slide.
Troubleshooting
The deck skips an expected slide
Inspect timeline/precomposition stops and scene boundaries, then republish after confirming the stop is saved in the active presentation timeline.
Viewers cannot advance on mobile
Enable a touch-compatible advance mode such as swipe or click and test the published deck on a real touch device.
