Set your video’s canvas size and frame rate from preset groups — standard Video sizes, Social formats (Instagram/TikTok/YouTube/…), and Presentation aspects — or a custom width×height and FPS. A letterbox frame shows the active scene at that size.
Where: Video timeline dock → resolution/format picker — Open the format picker
Key ideas
- Presets: Video (1080p–8K, cinema), Social (Instagram/TikTok/YouTube/Twitter/Facebook), Presentation (16:9/4:3/1:1/9:16).
- Custom & FPS: Custom W×H and FPS (24/30/60 or custom).
- Scene frame: A letterbox frame pinned to the active scene marks the bounds and is the drop target for media.
Steps
- Open the resolution/format picker.
- Pick a preset (e.g. TikTok 9:16) or set custom W×H.
- Choose an FPS.
- Compose within the scene frame.
