Choose the compact Make composer or the conversational Assistant, attach references with the right roles, review an editable staged plan, and inspect live node reasoning.

Key ideas
- Make is the compact creation path: Choose “Everything else you can make”, search actions, add a brief or reference, select a capable model, and generate with Cmd+Enter.
- Assist and Plan & Build are distinct: Assist answers and operates conversationally. Plan & Build proposes editable stages and waits for Approve & build.
- Reasoning has two views: The Assistant shows Live node reasoning; the Agentic Reasoning view exposes framing, strategy, research, steps, cycles, discarded results, transcript, QA, and cost signals.
Steps
- Open Make for a direct outcome or Assistant for conversational construction.
- In Make, select the action and model before adding references so capability-specific slots are available.
- Add the current selection as a reference when useful and assign Reference, First frame, or Last frame where supported.
- Enter a brief; Generate remains disabled with the explanation “Add a brief or a reference first” until enough input exists.
- Use Cmd+Enter to generate, or collapse Make; collapsing does not stop running work and the Quick Add plus remains available.
- In Assistant, choose Assist or Plan & Build and add Motion, Interactive, or 3D capability context when the request needs it.
- For Plan & Build, edit stage and node names or briefs, add pauses only where review matters, then choose Approve & build.
- Follow Building, staged next actions, and Wrap up; open Live node reasoning or the named Canvas Reasoning dock when a node needs closer inspection.
- Use Conversation history to reopen project conversations, or New conversation to begin without deleting earlier project history.
Plan inspection
- The Plan card reports its Stages and allows stage/node edits before approval.
- Agentic Reasoning can show framed need, strategy, research notes, steps and cycles, unused results, transcript, QA pass/fail, sparks, upscales, and discarded attempts.
- HTML raw markup is not a file URL; connect it from the canvas or add it through Assets.
Tips
- Use Make when the action and desired output are already clear; use Plan & Build when graph structure or review points need agreement.
- Inspect discarded results when an agent appears to ignore a candidate—it may have rejected it during QA.
Limitations and important notes
- Collapsing the composer changes UI only.
- Plan approval authorizes the shown construction; review edits before starting costly stages.
Troubleshooting
Generate is disabled.
Add a brief or a compatible reference and verify the selected action/model accepts that reference role.
