Know which nodes open video, website, section, 3D, ad, design-system, or Designer surfaces; manage the shared editor window; and create links that reopen the correct master, page, or selection.

Key ideas
- Editor kind is source-derived: Eligible node types map to video, website, section, scene3d, ad, or design-system editors. Designer opens as its own same-window surface.
- One shared embedded slot: Flowgen allows one embedded document editor at a time so saves and locks remain attributable.
- Design systems have two masters: Web and video masters are separate documents with separate Copy web master link and Copy video master link actions.
Steps
- Select the node and confirm it reports an editor surface.
- Open the editor; read-only collaborators enter preview-only behavior.
- Use the full-screen editor for focused work or Shrink to a window you can move and resize.
- In full screen, move to the top edge to reveal the auto-hiding bar; the detached title bar and Designer inline bar remain visible.
- Save and close before opening another embedded document editor.
- Use Copy editor link, or the separate web/video master actions for a Design System.
- Include flow, node, open state, master, page, or selection in a deep link only when recipients should land there.
- After saving back, rerun downstream nodes whose earlier inputs are now stale.

Tips
- Detach when comparing the editor with the graph; geometry is remembered per person.
- Use the reported editor indicator instead of guessing from a node name.
Limitations and important notes
- Non-editor nodes use prompt/props/run controls instead.
- Master links stay disabled until that master exists.
- Opening another editor is blocked while the current editor is finishing a save.
Troubleshooting
Flowgen says Editor is busy.
Wait for the open editor to finish saving, then close or switch it before opening another.
The editor closed after deleting a node.
Deleting the node removes its host; Flowgen closes an orphaned editor automatically.
