The right-hand Stock & Media slide-out has been retired along with the bottom Add-Node bar that opened it. Stock media now comes from the Stock library section of the Add tab, and your own files from the Assets tab — both in the left rail.
Where: canvas → left rail → Add → Stock library (or left rail → Assets for your own files) — Open the Add tab and pick a stock node, or open the Assets tab
Key ideas
- What replaced it: Stock now enters the canvas as a node you can wire, not as a browsing sidebar. The Add tab's Stock library section holds Stock Image, Stock Video, Stock Music, Stock SFX and Stock 3D; each searches the same libraries the video editor uses and outputs an asset the rest of your flow can read.
- Your own media: The Assets tab in the left rail is the project's own library. Drag an asset from it onto the canvas to create the matching input node, exactly as before.
- Why it went: The panel could only be opened from the bottom Add-Node bar, and that bar was replaced by the Make bar. Rather than re-home a browser that produced nothing wireable, its libraries were folded into the stock nodes.
Steps
- Open the Add tab in the left rail and expand Stock library.
- Click or drag the node for the media you want — Stock Image, Stock Video, Stock Music, Stock SFX or Stock 3D.
- Search inside the node for the asset, and pick one; its output is now wireable into the rest of your flow.
- For media you own rather than stock, switch to the Assets tab and drag the file onto the canvas instead.
FAQ
I still see Captions and Graphics tabs in the video editor. Are those gone too?
No. Captions and Graphics remain where they always were, inside the video editor. Only the flowGen-side copy of that browser was retired.
Does stock media become a node automatically?
Yes, that is now the only shape it comes in — a stock node whose output feeds downstream nodes, rather than a browser that dropped media into a shared library.
