Inspect adjacent clips for visual or motion discontinuities and regenerate only the transition windows that fail.
Where: Flowgen → Add → Video → Seam Fix
Key ideas
- Boundary-level QA: The node focuses on joins between clips—identity, composition, lighting, camera direction, and motion—not on recreating the whole sequence.
- Selective regeneration: Only failing transition windows are regenerated, preserving successful source clips and reducing cost/time.
- Sequence output: The repaired clip sequence can continue into Video Composition for editorial review and final rendering.
- Seam Fix card: SeamFixNode uses the generic shared-card path. Analyze adjacent clips and selectively repair discontinuities at their boundaries.
- Properties sidebar: SeamFixPanel.tsx
- Opened surfaces: Video timeline editor; history/restore
Steps
- Connect the ordered clips or long-video result.
- Describe the continuity that must hold across the joins.
- Run seam inspection and review every flagged boundary.
- Accept or regenerate the failing windows, then send the corrected sequence to Video Composition and watch each transition at normal speed.
Seam Fix controls and presets
- Add path: Flowgen → Add → Video & Motion → Seam Fix.
- Card: SeamFixNode.
- Properties: SeamFixPanel.tsx.
- Controls: Sensitivity; overlap; duplicate trim; seam reports/bridges; source/output.
- Opened surfaces: Video timeline editor; history/restore.
Limitations and important notes
- A regenerated seam can smooth a transition but may also introduce a new identity/detail change; review both sides of the repair.
Troubleshooting
The repaired join still jumps
Provide the exact end/start reference frames and name the property that must stay continuous, then retry only that boundary.
