Generate or extend video with Wan 3.0, including reference limits, sound, duration, resolution, and input-video billing.

Key ideas
- Two priced variants: The model IDs are wan-3.0 and wan-3.0-prime. Prime is a distinct faster tier with a different rate. Changing variants is not a free quality toggle: recheck the node quote after changing it.
- Frames versus references: A strict first/last-frame run constrains the beginning and end; a reference run conditions generation with media or a document. Strict frame inputs and reference inputs cannot be combined in one Wan request.
- Duration is shared with source video: Choose an integer output duration from 2 to 30 seconds. Reference videos total at most 15 seconds, and source-video seconds plus requested output seconds must fit within 30 seconds.
Steps
- Choose Wan 3.0 or Prime on Create Video, write a non-empty prompt, and select resolution, aspect ratio, duration, and native sound.
- For a frame-constrained clip, connect the first image and optionally the last image. A last frame requires a first frame; remove competing reference inputs.
- For a reference clip, connect supported images, videos, or audio. You may also supply one public URL Reference or one Reference File, but not both.
- For continuation, use Extend Video with one source clip and a prompt. Do not also attach frame, image-reference, audio-reference, or document inputs to that extend request.
- Wait for reference durations to be measured, check the quote, run, and compare the finished clip with the intended references before reusing it.
Card and sidebar reference
- Resolution: 480P, 720P, or 1080P. Shape: adaptive, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, or 9:16.
- Prompt: required, up to 20,000 characters. Seed, when specified, is an integer from 0 to 2,147,483,647.
- References: up to 10 images, 5 videos, and 5 audio clips. Audio references total at most 15 seconds.
- A public webpage URL and a reference file are mutually exclusive, each capped at one. Flowmo prepares uploaded reference files as provider-readable URLs.
- Negative prompt, FPS, CFG scale, person-generation policy, and character-orientation controls are not supported on this route.
Sparks calculation
- Wan 3.0 output rates: 3 / 6 / 11 Sparks per second at 480P / 720P / 1080P.
- Prime output rates: 4 / 8 / 16 Sparks per second at the same resolutions.
- Referenced video is additionally billed at the selected output rate. A 5-second 720P Wan 3.0 output plus 12.4 seconds of source video quotes 30 + 75 = 105 Sparks.
Troubleshooting
The request is refused before generation.
Check frame/reference mixing, measured durations, caps, and unsupported controls. Trim source clips before retrying; lowering output duration alone may not satisfy the 15-second reference limit.
A document reference cannot be fetched.
Use a supported uploaded reference file or a public http(s) URL. An authenticated application page or a local blob URL is not provider-readable.
