The Studio timeline’s layer tree mirrors your elements. Expand a layer to reveal per-property tracks, and toggle visibility, lock, and (for audio) mute.
Where: Top bar → Timeline (Studio) → left layer tree — Open the timeline
Key ideas
- Expand to tracks: Each layer expands to per-property keyframe tracks.
- Toggles: Visibility, lock, and mute (audio) per layer.
- Mirrors the canvas: The tree follows your element hierarchy and selection.
- Focused U shortcut: With the timeline focused, press U to expand the selected layer’s property/keyframe tracks; press U again to collapse that layer.
Steps
- Open the Studio timeline.
- Expand a layer to see its property tracks.
- Use the eye/lock/mute toggles per layer.
- Click inside the timeline and select the layer you want to inspect.
- Press U to reveal its property/keyframe tracks; press U again to collapse them.
- Continue with the eye, lock, and audio mute controls or edit the revealed keyframes.
Limitations and important notes
- U is timeline-focused: it does not run when focus is in an input/editable field or when the timeline does not own the active keyboard context.
