In Focus mode the timeline is a beginner non-linear editor: a lane view (Video / Overlay / Text / FX / Voice / Music / Captions) over your layers, where you drag clips to move and trim and apply Motion presets.

Key ideas
- Lanes: Clips are organized into Video, Overlay, Text, FX, Voice, Music, and Captions lanes.
- Edit clips: Drag to move/trim; Split (S) cuts at the playhead; right-click for crossfade / dip-to-black transitions.
- Motion presets: Apply a keyframe package to a clip from the Motion menu.

Troubleshooting
A transition or Motion preset starts at the wrong time
Inspect the clip in/out points and overlaps after trimming; the preset/transition follows the clip timing.
