Upload or select an HTML source and expose it through a typed HTML output for joining, validation, authoring, or rendering workflows.
Where: Flowgen → Add → Bring in → HTML Source
Key ideas
- Card-owned source: HTML upload/source value and file metadata live on the native-fullscreen card; there is no second specialized upload panel in the sidebar.
- Typed HTML output: Connect it to HTML-aware nodes such as Page Join, Validation, or another compatible authoring/value input.
- Opened surface: The common HTML preview lets you inspect the result; external assets and scripts remain subject to the downstream renderer’s policy.
- HTML Source card: HtmlInputNode uses the native-fullscreen shared-card path. Bring static HTML source into the graph through a typed HTML output.
- Properties sidebar: Card-owned upload/source controls; common properties shell
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; HTML preview
Steps
- Add HTML Source and upload or select the intended file.
- Open the preview and inspect structure, styling dependencies, external assets, and scripts.
- Connect the HTML output to the next compatible node.
- Use the HTML/Motion/Code authoring chain when the source must remain an editable live draft rather than a static input.
HTML Source controls and presets
- Add path: Flowgen → Add → Inputs → HTML Source.
- Card: HtmlInputNode.
- Properties: Card-owned upload/source controls; common properties shell.
- Controls: Upload/source value; filename/source metadata.
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; HTML preview.
Limitations and important notes
- A static HTML input is not the same contract as the HTML node’s layered live draft output.
