Upload a video, use a URL, choose project media, or replace the current source while keeping a typed video output in the graph.
Where: Flowgen → Add → Bring in → Video Upload
Key ideas
- Card-owned input surface: Upload/replace, URL/library selection, source preview, and metadata live on the native-fullscreen card; the common sidebar shell does not duplicate a specialized upload inspector.
- Typed video result: Connect the output to annotation, frame extraction, extension, lip sync, Video Composition, Video Render, or another compatible video input.
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser selects existing project media and the video lightbox/player is the full preview surface.
- Video Upload card: VideoInputNode uses the native-fullscreen shared-card path. Bring a video file, URL, or existing project asset into the graph.
- Properties sidebar: Card-owned upload controls; common properties shell
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; video lightbox
Steps
- Add Video Upload and choose an upload, URL, or existing project asset.
- Watch the clip and check duration, audio, aspect, orientation, and usable first/last frames.
- Connect the video output to the next node.
- Replace the source on the card when the clip should change without rewiring the flow.
Video Upload controls and presets
- Add path: Flowgen → Add → Inputs → Video Upload.
- Card: VideoInputNode.
- Properties: Card-owned upload controls; common properties shell.
- Controls: Upload/replace; URL; media library; source preview.
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; video lightbox.
Limitations and important notes
- Use the card, not the sidebar, for upload/source controls.
