Upload an image, paste a URL, choose one from the project Asset Browser, or replace the current source while preserving a typed image output.
Where: Flowgen → Add → Bring in → Image Upload
Key ideas
- Card-owned input surface: Image Upload is a native-fullscreen card: upload/replace, URL, media-library selection, filename/source metadata, and preview live on the card rather than a duplicate specialized sidebar inspector.
- Typed image result: The card emits an image output for generators, Image Editor, Image Layers, compositions, web nodes, or other compatible image inputs.
- Opened surfaces: Choose Asset Browser to reuse project media and lightbox to inspect the current source at full size.
- Image Upload card: ImageInputNode uses the native-fullscreen shared-card path. Bring an image file, URL, or existing project asset into the graph.
- Properties sidebar: Card-owned upload controls; common properties shell
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; image lightbox
Steps
- Add Image Upload and upload a supported image, enter its URL, or choose an existing asset.
- Inspect the source at full size and confirm filename, dimensions, transparency, and orientation.
- Connect the image output to the intended typed input.
- Use Replace on the card when the same graph role should keep its connections but receive a new source.
Image Upload controls and presets
- Add path: Flowgen → Add → Inputs → Image Upload.
- Card: ImageInputNode.
- Properties: Card-owned upload controls; common properties shell.
- Controls: Upload/replace; URL; media library; filename/source.
- Opened surfaces: Asset Browser; image lightbox.
Tips
- Reuse the Asset Browser copy when the media already belongs to the project.
- Name the node by its role so downstream references are clear.
Limitations and important notes
- The common properties shell does not duplicate the upload controls; use the card for source changes.
