Find, open, and organize Dashboard projects, and distinguish the new Designer presentation start from the legacy Designer project filter.
Where: Dashboard → Projects — Open the dashboard
Key ideas
- Designer mode does not change the project filter: New Dashboard Designer starts are Flowgen projects. Switching their presentation does not move them to the legacy Designer filter, which may still show older standalone projects.
Steps
- Use Dashboard → New project → Designer to create a Flowgen canvas in Designer presentation; use New Flowgen to start in Flow presentation.
- Find either presentation of a new canvas under Flowgen. The Designer filter can locate older standalone Designer projects retained for compatibility.
- Use a project card’s actions to open or organize a saved project. Closing an editor tab is separate from deleting a Dashboard project.
Find and create
- Filter by f0 Websites, f0 Video, Flowgen, or All with counts.
- Search by project name and sort by recent activity or name.
- Switch grid/list based on density.
- Start a Flowgen workspace manually or from an AI brief/reference when offered.
Project card actions
- Open or open in a new tab.
- Copy preview/designer links.
- Duplicate.
- Share and manage collaborators.
- Move to a folder.
- Download the project file.
- Restore from a stored backup.
- Delete after confirmation.
Current Dashboard and Flowgen start
The Dashboard starts with a guided outcome prompt. A new Flowgen canvas offers three other entry actions in one workspace: Build with AI, eight editable visual starts, and Start from a flow in Marketplace. Website, video, and Designer editors can then open from connected Flowgen nodes.
- Describe a goal under “What would you like to make?”; add relevant references and choose or skip a Brain Brand before the guided Flowgen handoff.
- Use New flowgen project for an empty canvas. Its eight “Choose what to make” cards live on that canvas, not as a required Dashboard mode choice.
- Build with AI opens the Agent conversation; Start from a flow browses Marketplace work for the same canvas.
- Dashboard project search, filters, sort, grid/list, folders, Archive, and Trash help you manage existing work.
- Focus/Studio and Cards/Node graph change editor presentation for an existing project; a premium action is gated and priced when it runs.
Creating versus filtering
- The primary New Flowgen action starts a Flowgen project.
- The More project types menu creates Website, Video (Blank composition), or Designer.
- Menu labels describe a creation path; filters group stored Dashboard route types and are not a one-to-one list of all creation actions.
Current Designer behavior
- The Dashboard Designer action creates a Flowgen project and opens Designer presentation.
- A Flowgen canvas remains in the Flowgen project bucket when its presentation changes.
- The legacy Designer filter can still contain older standalone Designer projects.
Current project filter values
- All shows the full project list.
- f0 groups Website projects.
- flowMotion groups supported video/compositor route types.
- flowGen shows Flowgen canvases, whether opened in Flow or Designer presentation.
- The legacy Designer filter can still show older standalone Designer projects; it does not contain new Designer-mode canvases.
Tips
- Download the current project file before a risky restore or template replacement.
- Use a new Flowgen project for a true workspace boundary; use canvases/groups inside one project for related flows.
Limitations and important notes
- Available create types and free-project counts depend on the current product transition and plan.
- Deleting, restoring, and template replacement are materially different actions—read the confirmation carefully.
Troubleshooting
A new Designer-mode canvas is missing from the Designer filter.
Look under Flowgen. New Dashboard Designer starts use the Flowgen project type; the legacy Designer filter is retained for older records.
