Key ideas
- Shared card, different job: Extend Video reuses VideoGenerationNode, but its visible Add action and source behavior are continuation-oriented rather than a fresh Gen Video run.
- Model-driven inspector: The card/sidebar expose model, prompt, source/frames, duration, aspect, resolution, audio/SFX, person, seed, negative prompt, FPS, and orientation only where the selected route supports them.
- Video result and surfaces: The output appears in the card/history and opens in video lightbox; it can continue to annotation, frame extraction, seam repair, composition, or rendering.
- Extend Video card: VideoGenerationNode uses the authored shared-card path. Continue a connected source clip using the shared generation card in extension mode.

Steps
- Connect the source clip and describe only what should continue or change after its boundary.
- Choose a model that supports the connected source and desired duration/format.
- Set the visible model-specific controls and generate.
- Watch the source-to-extension boundary at normal speed; use Seam Fix or a composition when the transition needs repair.
